So who can blame their defiant band of lawyer supporters for attempting an ambitious rebrand? Henceforth the Liberal Democrat Lawyers Association is to go by the ambitious if clunky title of ‘Rights-Liberties-Justice’. ‘The name shows our membership is open to all who believe in our principles – not just lawyers’ declares chairman Graham Colley doughtily. That would be, er, more or less everyone then, presumably.
