Obiter is pleased to help commemorate the life of Pannone partner Daniel Radiven, who died of cancer last December.

Radiven, a father of four children all aged under six, wrote a moving and uplifting piece about his fight against the disease since his diagnosis six years previously. A member of the personal injury department at the Manchester firm, Radiven continued to work from home until his death and was described as a ‘talented and dedicated lawyer’ by colleagues.

Since December, family members and colleagues have sought to use his story as inspiration to raise money for the Bury Cancer Support Centre, which offered help throughout his treatment.

Colleagues raised £1,000 through a raffle, with Amy Worrall raising a further £2,700 by running a marathon.

Next week his widow Justine is taking on a skydive to raise money for Chai Cancer Care in Radiven’s memory. To donate, see her Just Giving page.
