Following critical acclaim and a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre, Jonathan Church’s world premiere production of Taken At Midnight by Mark Hayhurst is playing at the Theatre Royal Haymarket until 14 March. Penelope Wilton plays the role of the mother of lawyer Hans Litten who, in 1931, put Hitler in the witness box – and suffered terrible consequences when the Nazis came to power.

Obiter has two tickets to give away (Monday-to-Thursday performances to 5 March, usual conditions apply).

We normally ask entrants to come up with a witty pastiche, but as we’re not in the mood for jokes about dictators locking up lawyers we’ll just draw a name out of a hat. To be in the draw, just email obiter@lawsociety.org.uk with ‘Taken at Midnight’ in the subject line by noon on Friday 20 February.

For more information, go to the theatre’s website.
