Yorkshire law firm Gordons has further enhanced its employment team by recruiting experienced solicitor Tim Gooder from national practice DWF in Leeds.

Tim, who was at his previous firm for five years, has a strong background in advising clients from a range of industries on all aspects of employment law. His contentious tribunal litigation work includes contractual dispute, dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination cases.

Tim (pictured, top right) also undertakes his own tribunal advocacy.

His non-contentious work includes employment contracts and policies, compromise agreements and handling instructions on absence-management and disciplinary matters. Tim also works on strategic issues, such as redundancy processes.

Commenting on his new role, he said: ‘I jumped at the chance to join Gordons’ employment team. They have an outstanding reputation and their expertise in sectors such as transport and retail aligns with my own experience.

‘It’s a friendly, hardworking team with a dedicated client focus that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I’m really pleased to now be part of it and I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues to further expand Gordons’ employment offer.’

A member of the Employment Lawyers Association, Tim also delivers training seminars and legal updates to clients.
