Midlands law firm Bray & Bray has made three new appointments for its private client and commercial teams.

Joining the firm’s head office in Leicester are commercial property associates Sanveer Sandhu and Beth Lyon, whilst wills, trusts and probate specialist Isobel Mann joins Bray & Bray’s Market Harborough office.

Previously associate solicitor in the real estate team at Shakespeare Martineau, Nottingham, Sandhu has worked at national and international law firms, operating in a range of sectors including retail, leisure, telecommunications and energy. At Bray & Bray, he will act for clients in commercial real estate matters and advise on acquisitions and disposals, investments and developments and portfolio management, as well as banking and finance and corporate support.

Lyon joins from Browne Jacobson, Nottingham, where she specialised in commercial property for clients in the education sector, and has also worked with housing associations and developers.

A specialist in elderly client law and an accredited STEP member, Mann joins Bray & Bray’s Market Harborough office and the firm’s wills, trust and probate team, led by Andrew Hitchon. Previously at Northampton firm Borneo Martell Turner Coulston Solicitors, Isobel is the regional director for Solicitors for the Elderly for the East Midlands region.

Commenting on the firm’s new hires, Bray & Bray’s senior partner and head of company commercial law Tim Gladdle said: ’These high-profile appointments are in response to a sustained increase in client instructions across the firm, particularly for our commercial property and private client teams. Their complementary and proven specialist skills and experience will further enhance our high level of client service and are a clear indicator of our focused strategy for sustainable growth and continued excellence.’

Commenting on his appointment, Sandhu said: ’Bray & Bray is very highly regarded and known for its clear and proactive advice, which appeals to my pragmatic approach to helping clients achieve their goals.’

Lyon added: ’I am attracted by Bray & Bray’s ethos – it is a progressive yet well-established firm with a strong emphasis on client service. I hope my extensive experience in commercial property will help to facilitate the development of strong, long-term relationships with clients.’

Mann said: ’I am pleased to be joining a long-established firm and a team of accredited STEP members, and utilising my skills and connections through my work for Solicitors for the Elderly to support Bray & Bray’s ongoing strategy to develop and expand across the Midlands.’
