National firm Weightmans has reported its fifth successive year of growth, with net profit rising by 17% to £17 million on revenue increasing by 12% to £162m. Every employee will receive a bonus of £2,500.
The firm, which has roots in Liverpool, has expanded rapidly in recent years. In 2025/26 it opened a new office in Nottingham while mergers with Elborne Mitchell and Myton Law increased its presence in London and Leeds. In Scotland it added a specialist immigration team in Glasgow.

During the year, the first under Sarah Walton as managing partner, the firm set up international desks and developed a close working relationship with Irish firm Whitney Moore.
