Sheroze Nadeem, who works for Forbes Solicitors in business dispute resolution, went to the region this week to help distribute hygiene kits, food packs, tents and heaters.

Nadeem has been working in Turkey’s Hatay province and Jindayris, a town in Syria, with the humanitarian group Turkish Red Crescent. This is his second trip in less than a year to help after a natural disaster. In September, he travelled to Pakistan to help with relief efforts following devastating floods that struck the country.

Nadeem told the Gazette: ‘I’d like to share a message of positivity and show that we as legal professionals can get involved and are not stuck in our ways as often perceived, but more so to inspire those younger than me and also encourage other firms to get behind projects of this nature where employees wish to assist.'
