CPRE, the countryside charity
Established in 1926, we are the only charity that aims to promote, enhance and protect the countryside for us all to enjoy. We’re here for woodland, farmland, green spaces, nature reserves and so much more. With a local CPRE in every county, we work with communities, businesses and government to find positive and lasting ways to help the countryside thrive - today and for generations to come.

Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust, The
There are now only 300 Dartmoor Heritage ponies roaming on Dartmoor. The Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust is dedicated to ensuring they remain on their moorland home. For over 20 years, our small charity has been making a big difference on Dartmoor. We deliver nature conservation, support for pony owners and education sessions. Our work is powered by volunteers, members, and donors who share our vision of a thriving Dartmoor, where ponies, people, and wildlife flourish together.

Global Returns Project
Climate change and nature loss are global problems needing global solutions. The Global Returns Project makes it easy to support the world’s highest impact charities tackling climate change and biodiversity loss. The ecosystems our charities protect and regenerate are home to endangered animals, birds and insects.

Open Spaces Society
As Britain’s oldest national conservation body, we protect and preserve commons, public paths, and green spaces. At the Open Spaces Society, we have campaigned to protect commons, greens, and paths for more 160 years. All these are under threat in various ways including from neglect, illegal obstructions and the pressure of new developments. Any gift in wills, large or small, makes a vital difference and enables us to defend the places and paths which are some of our nation’s finest assets.

Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB)
As the UK's oldest conservation charity, we represent the practical and positive side of conservation through our unique combination of training, research, advice and repair. We celebrate old buildings and encourage building professionals and homeowners to keep them useful, beautiful and part of the lives of communities across the country.

Action for Conservation
Action for Conservation is a UK environmental education and conservation charity using innovative approaches to inspire young people from diverse backgrounds, aged 12 to 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. With your support, Action for Conservation will inspire and empower young people from across the UK to address the climate crisis through practical conservation activities.

Barn Owl Trust
The Barn Owl Trust is a small national charity tucked away in South Devon that has been doing big things to conserve and protect not only the Barn Owl, but also the wider conservation and environmental issues that surround this beautiful bird. Anyone who has ever watched a Barn Owl hunting at dusk has surely been touched by the experience, but in recent years numbers of these beautiful birds have been declining due to environmental and man-made pressures.

Bumblebee Conservation Trust
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established because of serious concerns about the ‘plight of the bumblebee’. In the last 80 years our bumblebee populations have crashed. Two species have become nationally extinct and several others have declined dramatically. Bumblebees are familiar and much-loved insects that pollinate our crops and wildflowers, so people are rightly worried.

Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust
Clevedon Pier is a Victorian Pier situated on the east shore of the Severn Estuary and is Britain’s only Grade I listed Pier. It is over 150 years old, meaning that it needs to be carefully maintained to protect it, costing us over £125,000 in a typical year. We need to raise funds to help maintain the Pier, so that it can be enjoyed by future generations.

Compassion in World Farming International
The challenges of building a humane and sustainable world have never been greater. Against a backdrop of a population explosion and soaring food prices, intensive livestock farming poses a very real threat to our planet. Greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, biodiversity loss and water scarcity are all disastrous consequences of factory farming.
